F.A.Q.
General
A digital product is a product that exists only in digital form. Therefore it can only be accessed by using a technological device such as a smartphone, a tablet, or a computer. A digital product lacks a physical form.
A printable product is a product that comes in digital form, but can be printed out.
Yes, my digital products work on both Android and Apple tablets.
A digital planner is like your regular planner, but in digital form (therefore you need a device to access it).
It is an interactive PDF document; so it uses hyperlinks to facilitate moving between pages (for example, to move between the monthly pages for January and March you would only need one click).
Note, then, that a digital planner requires a PDF annotation app in order to work.
Once your payment has been processed, you’ll receive a message with links to either download your product or to download a PDF file that contains the link to your product.
If you have an Etsy account the files will also be available in your “Purchase” section.
If you make your purchase as a visitor, you will be able to access your files through a link sent via the email your made your purchase with.
No, there is no limit. Once you have purchased the product, you can always access it and download it or print as many times as you need.
Switching to digital and printable products offers significant environmental benefits. By using digital planners, you can eliminate the need for physical copies, reducing paper waste and deforestation.
Printables allow you to print only what you need, minimizing unnecessary resource consumption.
This approach also eliminates the need for storing bulky notebooks, saving physical space and reducing clutter in your home.
Since most individuals already possess devices such as smartphones, tablets, or computers, transitioning to digital is a cost-effective and accessible option. Embracing digital and printable products is a sustainable choice that promotes conservation and convenience simultaneously.
No. The products are for personal use only unless stated otherwise. File sharing, distribution, and commercial use of the files or printed work from the file is prohibited.
Beginner's Guide
You need 3 things:
- An electronic device (I recommend using a tablet, since it mimics what planning on paper feels like)
- A stylus (if you opt for tablet or phone; although, note that it is difficult to write on a small screen)
- A digital planner suited to your needs
Any app that supports PDF annotation and allows hyperlinks works.
My planners are tested on:
(Android): Samsung Notes App (the built-in note-taking app), Xodo, and Noteshelf
(Apple): Goodnotes, Noteshelf
Apps that other customers use are: Notability, Flexcil, Zoomnotes.
After you have downloaded your planner, it should be in the “Downloads” folder on your tablet. If it comes in a ZIP folder, unzip it first.
Then, long-press on it. There will be an icon that leads to “More”. Select “Open with” and select the note-taking app of your choice.
An undated planner contains all the templates that a regular, dated planner does except the dates (i.e. June 16th, Monday).
It all comes down to personal preference.
However, undated planners are in no way inferior to dated ones. In fact, undated planners come with quite a few advantage:
- reusable; you can duplicate the pages as many times as you want, as they are undated, you can use the planner virtually forever
- versatile; depending on the type/mix of pages that the planner comes with (daily, weekly, monthly or a combination of these) you can have a planning experience that adapt to your needs by switching between weekly and monthly planning without wasting pages
- can be used any time of the year; if you like a design, you can buy the planner and use it whenever you want, be it March, August, or next January
Troubleshooting
You can download your purchase only by using a browser, not through the Etsy App.
If you have an Etsy account, please go to the “Purchase” section, select “View your files” to download your files.
If you purchased as a guest, please check you inbox to download your file. Etsy will send you a link. Please also check your spam.
If after trying to download using your browser and checking your spam you still have trouble accessing your product, please send me an email at perlapublishing23@gmail.com with the following title: !! I can’t access my files
Please send me proof of your purchase and I will send you your files.
There are two possible reasons:
- You are not using an app that allows PDF annotation (and hyperlinks). See “Beginner’s Guide” above for my app recommendations.
- You are not in “Reading mode”. Hyperlinks only work when “Reading mode” is activated (so when you cannot write in the page). Check this page to see how to turn reading more on and off.
Please check this page for information on how to download files from Google Drive.
